Everyone native to Japan?
I am a student of Japanese. I speak like a native in a short period of time (perhaps 6 months). If you are a native of Japan, I can send the sound of the waves of my word and you just check for me.
I am not a Japanese, but I lived in Japan for 6 years and has studied Japanese industry for 2 years before. I feel that my Japanese has reached the point where I sounded like a native speaker, after having been in Japan for 2 years. I honestly do not think you will be able to sound fluent in 6 months. When I was in Japan, I have spoken, read and write in Japanese every day, watching television and listening to Japanese music in Japan and took me about two years. I could give you some advice about pronunciation however. First, when you speak, try to speak in a monotone. Americans tend to use accents when speaking English. Warning: landfill accents! Bad example: gozaimas ohayou good example ohayougozaimasu (Also, do not stop between ohayou and gozaimasu. This is really a word …) When we speak words ra, ri, ru, re, ro (ら,り,る,れ,ろ) does not curl your tongue in your mouth. Instead, strike the upper teeth slightly with the back of the tongue produce the sound of a good deal of percussion, the Japanese "r" sound. Note: The Japanese "R" is more like an "R" with a small "d" can be waived if you focus only on these two points: the discharge of focus and light percussion to produce a "r" sound, Japanese pronunciation is improved significantly. To improve further, remember, of course, that the sentences are spoken Japanese as the only way with words. Speaking of complete sentences without pausing too much to improve their fluency.
