How can I take pictures in low light color, get the color of the ambient low-lit room, but to reduce motion blur?
I try to take photos of a test for live band in a recording studio in low light. The room is lit red track and blue light. I have great pictures, but if the transition to all performers, are very vague. I want to be able to take pictures without flash to get all the colors of the room as flash fade. I know this has to do with the thrill of speed, but I do not know how to set long enough to get sufficient exposure, but short enough to keep blurring out musicians. My Camera Canon PowerShot S5 IS
