What kind of goose was the bird-gloss neck?
I was in a nature reserve in South Yorkshire, UK. There were many "regulars" birds (primarily Canada geese), but among them was a goose about the same size, the only difference being its neck and head were covered of dark brown spots, giving the appearance of a duck in Dalmatia. Any idea if this is kind of strange breed cross or a goose?
My feeling it probably is a hybrid. Geese are able to replicate in all species and geese.
